Visa Exemption with France Ends, New Cinema Rules, and Stricter Food Controls

1. Diplomacy and Cinema: New Regulations

Significant changes impact foreign relations and the cultural sector. The Algerian government has denounced the short-stay visa exemption agreement with France for diplomatic and service passport holders. In cultural affairs, a decree sets the conditions for issuing cinematic exploitation visas and cultural visas.
- The French government has been notified of the decision to subject its nationals holding diplomatic or service passports to a visa requirement to enter Algeria.
- A new legal framework is established for the exploitation and distribution of films through an exploitation visa and a cultural visa.

2. Consumer Protection: Enhanced Food Quality Control

The Ministry of Commerce issues several orders making specific analysis methods mandatory to ensure the quality of food products on the market. These measures aim to standardize control standards and protect consumer health.
