1. Vacancy at the Head of the Constitutional Court
The resignation of President Omar Belhadj has been formalized, with Leila Aslaoui appointed as interim president.
The Court has officially declared the post of President vacant following the resignation of Mr. Omar Belhadj. In her capacity as the eldest member, Mrs. Leila Aslaoui will serve as interim president until a new president is appointed.
2. New Regulations for Businesses and Entrepreneurs
Key updates include electronic voting for listed companies, mandatory industrial data reporting, and a revised list of activities for auto-entrepreneurs.
The financial sector sees the approval of electronic voting for general assemblies of listed companies. Industrial enterprises are now required to report production and input data through a new digital platform. The list of activities eligible for the 'auto-entrepreneur' status is officially updated.
3. Reorganization in Public Administration
A new decree sets the framework for the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Youth, while an order modifies contractual staff rules at the Ministry of Justice.
An executive decree defines the organization and missions of the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Youth. Concurrently, an interministerial order updates the workforce and classification of contractual service and maintenance agents at the Ministry of Justice.
4. Senior Official Appointments and Terminations
Multiple presidential and executive decrees appointing and terminating the functions of senior officials across various government sectors.
A series of decrees formalizes leadership changes for directors, inspectors, and other senior roles in ministries including Interior, Justice, Education, Health, and Civil Protection, as well as in national agencies and universities.
