This issue features ratification of cooperation agreements with Jordan on labor and social security, new regulations for the High Council of the Arabic Language, rules for 406 MHz distress beacons, and transfer of oversight for the National Statistics Office to the High Commissioner for Digitization. Numerous appointments and legal updates across various sectors are also included.

1. Ratification of Labor Cooperation Protocol with Jordan

Presidential decree ratifying the cooperation protocol in the field of labor between the Government of Algeria and the Government of Jordan.
Ratifies the cooperation protocol signed with Jordan on July 10, 2023, aiming to organize labor exchange and enhance cooperation in the labor market.

2. Ratification of Social Security MoU with Jordan

Presidential decree ratifying the memorandum of understanding between the Government of Algeria and the Government of Jordan in the field of social insurance and social security.
Ratifies the memorandum of understanding signed with Jordan on July 10, 2023, to enhance cooperation in social insurance fields and exchange of expertise.

3. Compensation Scheme for High Council of Arabic Language Members

Presidential decree establishing the compensation scheme applicable to members of the High Council of the Arabic Language.
The decree defines the compensation system for members of the High Council of the Arabic Language, including fixed and variable parts, plus a supplementary allowance for presidents of permanent commissions.

4. Regulation of 406 MHz Distress Beacon Operations

Presidential decree governing operations related to distress beacons transmitting at 406 megahertz.
Regulates the import, acquisition, and use of distress beacons for aircraft (ELT), ships (EPIRB), and individuals (PLB), requiring prior authorization and registration with MCC Algiers. Abrogates the decree of 2000.

5. National Statistics Office Placed Under High Commissioner for Digitization

Transfers the tutelage of the National Statistics Office from the Minister of Finance to the High Commissioner for Digitization, reflecting a move towards enhancing the role of digitization in national data management.

6. Presidential Appointments and Terminations

8. Creation of a New Judicial Section in In Ghar

10. Appointment of Education Ministry's Public Procurement Commission Members

13. Appointment of National Solidarity Ministry's Public Procurement Commission Members

14. Declaration of Municipalities as Disaster Zones due to September 2024 Floods

Declares 46 municipalities in the wilayas of Laghouat, Béchar, and Tiaret as disaster zones following floods in September 2024, based on reports from wilaya technical committees for agricultural calamities.

15. Fixing Senior Posts in Ministry of Public Works

Interministerial order fixing the number of senior posts for professional workers, drivers, and ushers for the external services of the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructures.
Fixes the number of senior posts for professional workers, drivers, and ushers in the external services of the Ministry of Public Works (58 posts for each category), and abrogates the interministerial order of June 22, 2011.

16. Completion of Classification Criteria for Specialized Hospitals

Interministerial order completing the interministerial order fixing the classification criteria for specialized hospital establishments and health sectors and their classification.
Completes Annex II of the interministerial order of September 17, 1998, updating the classification of certain specialized hospital establishments and health sectors, such as the specialized burns hospital in Oran (Category A) and the mother and child hospital in Algiers (Category C).

17. Signature Delegation at Constitutional Court's Directorate of Studies

Decision of the President of the Constitutional Court delegating signature authority to the Director of Studies at the Constitutional Court.
The President of the Constitutional Court delegates signature authority for all administrative and financial documents and decisions to the Director of Studies at the Constitutional Court, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Boukhari, within the limits of his attributions.
