Government Reshuffle, Launch of Productive Families Program, and Expansion of National Bodies' Missions

Appointment of a new government led by Sifi Ghrieb, establishment of an economic support program for productive families, and an update to the National Toxicology Center's missions to enhance health security.

1. Appointment of a New Government

Through presidential decrees, the acting Prime Minister's duties were terminated, and Mr. Sifi GHRIEB was appointed Prime Minister, along with the formation of the new cabinet.
- Presidential Decree No. 25-239 ends the interim duties of the Minister of Industry as Prime Minister.
- Presidential Decree No. 25-240 appoints Mr. Sifi GHRIEB as Prime Minister.
- Presidential Decree No. 25-241 appoints the members of the new Government to various ministerial portfolios.

2. Family Support: Launch of the 'Productive Family' Program

An executive decree sets the conditions and modalities for benefiting from the 'Productive Family' program, aiming for the economic and social empowerment of families without income by supporting their productive activities.
- Aid: Granted once in the form of materials or equipment valued between 80,000 and 100,000 DZD.
- Beneficiaries: The head of the family (male or female), or a woman supporting her family, provided they have no income.
- Supported Activities: Cooking, pastry, sewing, embroidery, handicrafts, and small-scale agricultural activities.
- Conditions: Algerian nationality, 19 years or older, resident in Algeria, and not having benefited from other state aid programs.

3. Public Health: Expanded Missions for the National Toxicology Center

Amendment of the decree creating the National Toxicology Center, making it the reference institution for toxicovigilance and expanding its powers to include analysis, expertise, research, and response to major incidents.
- New missions: Conduct analyses and expert reports, evaluate the toxicological safety of products, and develop a health surveillance system for toxic risks.
- Emergencies: Ensure 24/7 availability to respond to notifications and provide urgent therapeutic advice.
- Creation of a green hotline number for reporting poisoning cases.
- Strengthening its role in continuous training for professionals and public awareness.

4. Changes in Senior State Administration

A series of individual decisions involving terminations and new appointments to senior positions in the Presidency, Government, wilayas, as well as in key sectors such as education and housing.
- Termination of duties for senior officials, including an advisor to the Presidency, the Wali of Annaba, and the Director General of Taxes.
- New appointments include the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff and the Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court.
- Appointment of new directors in the education, housing, urban planning, tourism, and public equipment sectors across several wilayas.

5. Sectoral Ministerial Decisions

Regulatory decisions and appointments to the boards of directors of bodies under the ministries of Post and Telecommunications, Agriculture, and Hydraulics.
- Post and Telecommunications: Amendment of the order setting the number of staff positions, their classification, and contract duration for contractual agents in the ministry's external services.
- Agriculture: Appointment of board members for the Algerian Interprofessional Office for Cereals (OAIC), the National Interprofessional Office for Vegetables and Meats, the National Agency for the Sustainable Development of Fishing and Aquaculture, and the National Office for the Development of Equine and Camel Breeding.
- Hydraulics: Designation of members of the orientation council of the National Agency for Water Resources (ANRH).
