A new law governing mining activities is enacted, defining the legal and institutional framework for geological infrastructure, research, and exploitation of mineral resources. Additionally, decisions on appointments and terminations in several ministerial sectors.
1. New Law on Mining Activities
A new law aimed at defining the legal regime applicable to geological infrastructure, research, and exploitation activities of mineral or fossil substances, and fixing their institutional framework.
The law defines the legal framework for geological infrastructure, research, and exploitation activities for mineral or fossil substances, excluding water and hydrocarbons. It establishes two agencies: the National Agency for Mining Activities and the Algerian Geological Survey Agency. It specifies the types of mining titles and authorizations, their granting procedures, and establishes a framework of penalties for violations. It also includes transitional provisions for titles granted under the old law.

2. Appointments and Terminations of Senior Officials
A series of presidential and executive decrees concerning the termination and appointment of senior officials in various public administrations and bodies.

3. Ministry of National Defense: Aircraft Rescue Committee Modified
