Foreign Trade Overhaul: New Import and Export Bodies Established

A major overhaul of foreign trade establishes the Algerian Import Organism and the Algerian Export Organism, dissolving the national foreign trade promotion agency. The issue also includes new appointments to the Superior Council for Youth and in several ministerial sectors.
1. Foreign Trade Restructuring
Three executive decrees establish two new organisms to regulate imports and exports, and dissolve the National Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade.
• Executive Decree No. 25-233: Establishes the Algerian Import Organism, an administrative public body tasked with implementing state policy for monitoring and supervising imports.
• Executive Decree No. 25-234: Establishes the Algerian Export Organism, featuring a one-stop shop and a digital platform to streamline export procedures.
• Executive Decree No. 25-235: Dissolves the National Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade, transferring its assets, rights, obligations, and personnel to the new Algerian Export Organism.
• Executive Decree No. 25-234: Establishes the Algerian Export Organism, featuring a one-stop shop and a digital platform to streamline export procedures.
• Executive Decree No. 25-235: Dissolves the National Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade, transferring its assets, rights, obligations, and personnel to the new Algerian Export Organism.
2. Nominative List of the Superior Council for Youth Members
A decision establishes the full nominative list of members of the Superior Council for Youth, representing youth from the wilayas, associations, the national community abroad, and experts appointed by the President of the Republic.
• The decision includes the appointment of 232 elected members representing the youth of the wilayas.
• 34 members representing youth organizations and associations.
• 16 members representing the youth of the national community residing abroad.
• Also included are representatives of students, vocational training, youth with disabilities, as well as representatives from the Government and public institutions.

3. Ministerial Appointments and Delegations
Changes and signature delegations across several ministerial sectors, including the Presidency, Interior, Finance, Transport, and Environment, along with appointments to national committees and bodies.
• Modification of the sectoral markets commission for the Mediator of the Republic.
• Delegation of signature to directors at the Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities.
• Delegation of signature to the head of the financial operations and treasury management division at the Ministry of Finance.
• Appointment of new members to the scientific council of El Kala National Park and the national commission for protected areas.
• Delegation of signature to directors at the Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities.
